This year’s 5th annual A Day On the River is fast approaching! Coming up on Saturday June 21st from noon to four, follow the yellow duck signs down past the green bridge along the Gualala River and join us for great food, music, and company.
The barbecue lunch is $15 for adults and $5 for kids and includes Darrell Roger’s barbecue wild pig, oysters from Hog Island, a variety of salad selections, and homemade berry cobblers for dessert. For a special libation we have Lagunitas Brewing Company Ale on tap or enjoy a glass of local Wild Hog wine. Duck races, a dollar raffle with great local prizes, and live music from the Swinging Dog Tail will be happening throughout the afternoon.
Last year A Day On the river was clear and warm, and this Saturday is expected to be the same! Every year this event is fun for the whole family with lots of fun games and activities for kids. It’s a great chance for everyone to enjoy our local river and wildlife.
A special thank you to our local businesses and great volunteers who donate time, money and goods every year to make this event a great A Day on the River!
Come on down for a fun and relaxing afternoon on the river and don’t forget your sunscreen!
