It’s the 6th annual A Day On the River! Saturday June 27th from noon to four, turn on to Old State Road from Hwy 1 and follow the yellow duck signs down past Gualala Arts on Gualala River Road, then over the green bridge and make your first right, travel down the dirt road following the ducks!
Join us for great food, music, and company. The barbecue lunch is $15 for adults and $5 for kids. Hog Island Oysters start at NOON and Darrell Roger’s barbecue wild pig will be served at 1:00 along with a variety of homemade salads and berry cobblers for dessert. For a special libation we have Lagunitas Brewing Company Ale on tap or enjoy a glass of local Wild Hog wine. Duck races, a dollar raffle with great local prizes, and live music will be happening throughout the afternoon.
Last year A Day On the river was clear and warm, and this Saturday is expected to be the same! Every year this event is fun for the whole family with lots of games and activities for kids. It’s a great chance for everyone to enjoy our local river and wildlife.
A special thank you to our local businesses and great volunteers who donate time, money and goods every year to make this event a great A Day on the River!
Come on down for a fun and relaxing afternoon on the river and don’t forget a hat and your sunscreen!
